The teardown begins...

A trip to Metal Supermarkets to grab some tubing and plate steel.

Clayton Offroad 3-Link crossmember and arms in place.

The stock trackbar bushing was seized to the bolt so we decided to cut the bracket off and build a new one out of 3/16" plate. Much stronger and gives the trackbar more clearance.

Waiting for a few more parts to reassemble the front end

Every part of the Clayton 3 Link kit is solid! Huge joints even on the trackbar

Making more progress

Clayton truss and upper 3 link mount is welded up. We also opted for the HD lower mounts that include a front skid so we know that all the mounts are bomb-proof now!

The hoover craft is ready for some Raceline wheels and new tires!

The Trail Forged Crossover Steering is beefy!

Trail Forged Crossover steering kit is on. Glad to have such a solid steering setup on the jeep.

New rear shackle hangers were made out of 1/8" and 3/16" plate. This allows use to build in some ajustablitity.

Rear chase light is wired up. Left is a red brake light and right is a solid state amber that stays on when the jeep is on.

35"x12.5" R15 Goodyear MT/Rs Kevlars will hopefully be a great tire on the Jeep.
